Summary

This study aims to find COPD earlier in people who are already getting a lung CT scan as part of a lung health check. Researchers will invite 568 current or former smokers to take a simple breathing test a few weeks after their CT scan. The goal is to see if this approach helps diagnose COPD sooner, when treatment can still make a difference.
