Freezing out cancer: new study tests ice treatment for breast tumors in Non-Surgical patients

Summary
This study is testing a procedure called cryoablation, which uses extreme cold to freeze and destroy breast cancer tumors. It is for people who cannot have surgery due to medical reasons or personal choice. Researchers will follow 100 participants to see how safe the freezing treatment is and how well it controls the cancer over time.
