First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at how tiny particles from cooking (like frying and grilling) affect memory and breathing in the short term. Fifteen healthy adults will spend two 6-hour sessions in a special room—one with clean air and one with cooking fumes. Researchers will test lung function and thinking skills to see if cooking fumes cause any immediate changes. The goal is to better understand indoor air quality and how to make kitchens healthier.
