First seen Jun 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether the filters used in ventilators during surgery can capture tiny proteins and particles from a patient's breath. Researchers will analyze these filters to see if they can detect signs of respiratory inflammation. Ten adults having planned surgery will take part, and no extra procedures are needed beyond standard care.
