Can cooking classes be the secret to lasting weight loss for young adults with disabilities?
NCT ID NCT06961591
Summary
This study is testing whether adding hands-on cooking classes to a standard weight loss program helps young adults with intellectual disabilities lose more weight and keep it off. Over two years, researchers will compare weight loss, health markers, and daily living skills between a group that gets cooking lessons and one that follows the standard program. The goal is to find better ways to support healthy lifestyles for this community.
