Summary
This study aimed to collect plasma from people who recovered from COVID-19 and give it to critically ill patients to help them fight the infection. The study enrolled 117 participants but faced major challenges because West Virginia lacked the equipment and licenses needed to collect the plasma. As a result, the plasma donation part of the study was not completed.
