Patch could spot fever before It's serious in cancer patients

Summary
This study tests if a small, wearable patch called TempTraq can catch fevers early in cancer patients getting immunotherapy. Fevers can be a sign of cytokine release syndrome (CRS), a serious side effect. The patch monitors temperature continuously, which may help doctors act faster and prevent severe CRS. About 136 adults with cancer will wear the patch for up to 15 days while staying in the hospital.
