First seen Mar 01, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at how heart rate variability (a measure of nervous system health) relates to emotional control and parent-teen relationships in 74 adolescents with major depression. Teens will wear a Fitbit while sleeping for a week and fill out questionnaires. The goal is to understand these connections, not to test a treatment.
