Summary

This study tests whether coaching from community health workers through telehealth can help people with dangerously high blood pressure avoid major heart problems like heart attacks and strokes. About 3,620 adults with severe hypertension will be randomly assigned to receive either the coaching program or standard clinic care. The goal is to see if the coaching approach reduces heart-related emergencies.
