New therapy aims to ease lingering concussion headaches
NCT ID NCT07097792
Summary
This small pilot study is testing a new 6-session online therapy program called CRISP for young adults (ages 18-30) who still have headaches and other symptoms after a concussion. The program, based on a therapy used for chronic pain, helps people understand and express emotions that might be making their symptoms last longer. Researchers want to see if the program is practical and acceptable, and if it shows early signs of helping reduce headache impact and improve daily function.
