Mayo clinic launches massive study to spot concussions faster and stop brain injuries before they happen

Summary
This study will enroll 4,000 athletes aged 12–30 to improve how concussions are diagnosed on the spot and set safer return-to-play rules. Researchers will also test whether neck training and vision exercises can help prevent brain injuries. The goal is to find blood markers that show a concussion has occurred and reduce the risk of future sports-related head injuries.
