Summary

This study compares two surgical methods—laparoscopic (keyhole) and open surgery—for treating a rare cancer near the pancreas called nonpancreatic periampullary adenocarcinoma. About 212 adults aged 18 to 75 will take part. The main goal is to see which approach leads to a shorter hospital stay, while also looking at survival rates and complications.
