Lung cancer surgery showdown: keyhole vs. open after Pre-Treatment

NCT ID NCT07135856

First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looks at 400 people with non-small cell lung cancer who had pre-treatment (like chemo or immunotherapy) and then needed a specific type of lung surgery called sleeve lobectomy. Researchers want to see if a less invasive surgery (using small cuts and a camera) works as well as traditional open surgery. They will track cancer return and survival over 3 years to help doctors choose the best approach.
