First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests two different tools—a sliding jig and retraction hooks—both anchored by small screws in the cheekbone, to see which moves the upper teeth backward more effectively in adults with Class II malocclusion (overbite). About 40 people will join, and researchers will measure tooth movement, comfort, and side effects over up to 6 months.
