Summary
This study tested two different skin protectants (film-forming and lipophilic) to see which better prevents incontinence-associated dermatitis (a painful rash from urine/stool contact) in elderly nursing home residents. 220 participants were observed for 14 days. The goal was to find out if one product works better than the other or than no treatment at all.
