NCT ID NCT07420452

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compares two minimally invasive treatments—Silac (laser) and phenol (chemical)—for pilonidal sinus disease, a painful condition that affects young adults. About 200 patients with primary (first-time) disease will be randomly assigned to one treatment and followed for 6 months. The goal is to see which method has fewer recurrences, less pain, and faster recovery.
