NCT ID NCT07340008
First seen Jan 14, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study compares three sedatives (ketamine, nalbuphine, and dexmedetomidine) in 60 children aged 6 months to 3 years who need stitches removed after cleft lip or palate surgery. The goal is to see which drug works fastest and safest, and which makes the procedure easiest for the surgeon and child. All medications are already used in children, and the results will help doctors choose the best option for this common procedure.
