Anesthesia study seeks best way to deliver pain drug during surgery

Summary
This study compares two computer models (Minto and Eleveld) that help doctors give the right amount of the pain medicine remifentanil during general anesthesia. About 100 adults having surgery will take part. Researchers will measure how well each model controls pain by using special monitors that track the body's response to pain. The goal is to see which model works better at keeping patients comfortable and safe during surgery.
