New study aims to find best way to cut blood loss and pain in back surgery

Summary
This study tests two different numbing techniques—one that injects medicine around the spine and another that targets a specific back muscle—to see which better reduces bleeding and pain during lower back fusion surgery. About 62 adults will take part. The goal is to improve recovery and comfort after surgery.
