Summary

This study tested two methods to keep blood pressure stable and reduce pain during pituitary tumor surgery. Sixty adults received either a numbing injection near the cheekbone or numbing medicine placed inside the nose. The goal was to see which approach better controls blood pressure during surgery and provides longer pain relief afterward.
