First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study compares two drugs, dexmedetomidine and dexamethasone, added to a standard numbing medicine (ropivacaine) for arm surgery. The goal is to see which one helps the numbness start faster and last longer. About 66 adults having upper arm surgery will take part. The results could improve pain control and reduce the need for general anesthesia.
