First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looked at 119 adults to see if using 100% oxygen or 50% oxygen when removing a breathing tube after surgery leads to fewer drops in blood oxygen levels. The goal was to find the safest way to help patients breathe on their own after anesthesia. Results may guide standard care in recovery rooms.
