Which nerve block eases hip fracture pain best?
NCT ID NCT06296758
First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study compared two standard nerve blocks (femoral nerve block and suprainguinal fascia iliaca block) for pain after hip fracture surgery in 17 adults. The goal was to see which technique provides better pain relief and reduces the need for additional painkillers. Both methods are already used in routine care, so no new anesthesia was tested.
