Doctors test which hand muscle recovers faster from surgery drugs

NCT ID NCT06467448

Summary

This study compared how two different hand muscles recover from anesthesia drugs used during surgery. Researchers monitored 57 patients to see if the muscle at the base of the thumb recovers differently from the muscle at the base of the little finger. The goal was to gather information that might help anesthesiologists better monitor patients' recovery from muscle-relaxing medications.
