First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at how two different hand muscles recover from muscle relaxants given during surgery. In 57 patients, researchers compared the recovery time of a thumb muscle versus a pinky muscle using standard monitors. The goal was to see if one muscle gives a better sign of when it's safe to stop anesthesia, helping doctors ensure patient safety.
