First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tested two different MRI techniques to see which one better detects active brain lesions in people with multiple sclerosis (MS). 180 adults with MS or similar conditions had brain scans after a recent symptom flare-up. The goal was to find the most sensitive method for spotting inflammation, which could help doctors diagnose and monitor MS more accurately.
