NCT ID NCT03268239
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study compared two types of MRI scans to see which one finds active brain lesions better in people with multiple sclerosis (MS). 180 adults with MS who needed an MRI after a recent symptom flare-up took part. The goal was to see if a newer 3D scan (gradient-echo) finds more active lesions than the standard 3D scan (turbo-spin-echo). The results will help doctors choose the best MRI method to monitor MS.
