Summary
This study looked at 150 people with mild memory problems to see if a special MRI scan (pCASL) could give similar information to a standard PET scan. Participants had both scans, plus a spinal tap and yearly memory tests for three years. The goal was to see if the MRI could help predict who might develop dementia, without needing the more expensive or invasive PET scan.
