Summary

This study looked at 351 adults who had hernia repair surgery. Doctors compared using 3 small stitches versus 1 stitch to hold the mesh in place. The goal was to see which method caused less pain, fewer fluid collections, and fewer hernias coming back. Results were tracked for a year after surgery.
