Summary

This study compares two FDA-approved antibiotic combinations used for serious infections in hospitalized adults. The goal is to see which one is less likely to cause kidney injury. 852 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either vancomycin with piperacillin/tazobactam or vancomycin with meropenem. The results will help doctors choose the safer option for patients.
