This study looked at 159 kidney transplant patients to see if using Ringer lactate solution instead of normal saline with dextrose water during the first week after surgery helps prevent electrolyte imbalances. The goal was to find which fluid leads to better bicarbonate levels and fewer complications. Results may help improve standard care for transplant recipients.
