New study seeks best way to remove stomach tumors without major surgery

Summary
This study compares two endoscopic procedures—EFTR and STER—for removing small gastric GIST tumors (1.0–3.5 cm). About 136 adults from Hong Kong, mainland China, India, and Japan will be randomly assigned to one method. The goal is to see which technique achieves complete tumor removal with fewer complications.
