New study seeks best endoscopic method for stomach tumors

Summary
This study compares two minimally invasive procedures to remove small stomach tumors called GISTs. About 136 adults with tumors between 1 and 3.5 cm will be randomly assigned to one of two endoscopic techniques. The goal is to see which method removes the entire tumor more completely with fewer complications.
