Summary
This study looked at whether expressive writing—writing about your deepest thoughts and feelings—can help reduce anxiety and depression in young adults. 160 participants wrote daily for two weeks, either writing to themselves, to a loved one, or just describing their day. The goal was to see which approach works best for easing emotional distress.
