Scientists test new DNA machine against gold standard for cancer detection

NCT ID NCT07160010

Summary

This study compares two different DNA sequencing machines to see if they give similar results for genetic testing in cancer patients. Researchers will test the same patient samples on both the new MGI machine and the established Illumina machines. The goal is to determine if the new machine works as well for identifying genetic changes linked to ovarian cancer, breast cancer, and other hereditary conditions.
