One-Shade wonder? new dental filling put to the test
NCT ID NCT07334509
First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study compares a new, simpler single-shade dental filling material to a standard multi-shade one for fixing cavities between back teeth. About 50 adults will receive one of the two fillings and be checked after 12 months for how well they hold up, including fit, color, and sensitivity. The goal is to see if the new material works just as well or better, potentially making dental repairs faster and easier.
