Summary
This study compared two different chemotherapy combinations given with radiation before surgery for people with esophageal or junction cancer. The goal was to see which treatment leads to better tumor removal and fewer serious side effects after surgery. 106 participants were randomly assigned to receive either the standard FOLFOX regimen or a paclitaxel-carboplatin combo.
