Your circle could save lives: new study empowers everyday people to push cancer screening
NCT ID NCT05978128
Summary
This study is testing whether people who get screened for breast or lung cancer, or their supportive friends and family, can encourage others to get screened too. Researchers want to see if this 'sphere of influence' approach can increase screening rates, especially for lung cancer, which is underused. They will provide educational materials and track whether participants and their contacts complete recommended screenings over several years.
