First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested a communication tool designed to help adults who are about to have fecal ostomy surgery. Researchers wanted to see if patients and their clinicians found the tool acceptable and easy to use. About 25 patients and 4 clinicians took part, with at least half of the patients being 65 or older. Participants filled out questionnaires at the start and again four weeks after using the tool.
