NCT ID NCT03306173
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at what might happen if cigarette filter ventilation holes were banned. Researchers created a virtual store where 142 smokers could buy different tobacco products at various prices. The goal was to see how smokers would react if only low-ventilated or non-ventilated cigarettes were available. The study did not test any treatment or cure, but aimed to inform future tobacco regulations.
