Double radiation attack on resistant prostate cancer enters human testing

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new combination of two drugs that deliver radiation directly to prostate cancer cells. The goal is to find the safest dose that can be given together. About 42 men with advanced prostate cancer that has stopped responding to hormone therapy will take part. The study focuses on safety and tumor response.
