First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested whether more intense chemotherapy could help people with colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver and cannot be fully removed by surgery. 124 adults received either standard treatment or one of three stronger chemotherapy combinations. The goal was to see if the stronger treatments could shrink the liver tumors enough to allow surgery and improve survival.
