Does a special diet kit make colonoscopies more effective?
NCT ID NCT07361575
First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving people a prepackaged low-residue diet (Colobox®) before a colonoscopy leads to a cleaner colon compared to just providing instructions. A cleaner colon helps doctors spot polyps better, which can prevent colorectal cancer. About 230 adults will take part, and the main goal is to measure colon cleanliness using the Boston Bowel Preparation Scale.
