Summary

This study aims to discover new biological markers that could help detect gastrointestinal cancers earlier. Researchers are collecting tissue, blood, urine, and stool samples from 5,000 people undergoing colonoscopy, endoscopy, or surgery. The goal is to identify substances that indicate cancer risk and develop better screening methods for cancers affecting the colon, esophagus, stomach, and pancreas.
