Summary
This study tested a new program called IMPROVE, designed to help college students who drink heavily and feel stressed. The program teaches skills to better handle anxiety and uncertainty, aiming to reduce the urge to use alcohol as a coping method. Researchers compared the program to a general health course in 40 students, tracking their daily drinking and stress levels through their phones.
