New PET tracer could spot lung scarring early

Summary
This early-phase study tests a radioactive imaging agent called [68Ga]CBP8 to see if it can safely detect collagen buildup (scarring) in the lungs of people with pulmonary fibrosis and lung cancer. Researchers will compare scans from healthy volunteers and patients to see if the agent can spot fibrosis and help predict how the disease will progress. Up to 100 participants will be enrolled.
