First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at a program called the Collaborative Behavioral Health Program (CBHP) for treating depression in primary care. The program brings together primary care doctors, behavioral health managers, and psychiatrists to work as a team. Researchers will track how well the program is adopted and whether it improves depressive symptoms and access to care for 778 participants.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that a team-based approach in primary care effectively treats depression and improves access to mental health services.
What could go wrong
This is an implementation study, not a test of a new drug. Results may vary across clinics, and the program may not work as well in other settings.
