NCT ID NCT07489690
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether eating a high-fat or high-carb energy bar helps soldiers perform better and use energy more efficiently in cold weather (5°C). Eight physically active adults will eat a special bar, then rest, walk with a heavy backpack, and run 2 miles. Researchers will measure how their bodies burn fuel and how fast they run. The goal is to find the best food for troops in cold environments.
