Could a good shiver be good for your blood sugar?

NCT ID NCT05576025

Summary

This study investigated whether making people shiver from cold exposure could help control blood sugar levels. Researchers tested this in 24 adults with either pre-diabetes or type 2 diabetes. They carefully monitored participants' glucose for 24 hours after different intensities of cold-induced shivering to see if it had a beneficial effect.
