First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 08, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special pillow that combines cold therapy and arm elevation can help children aged 7 to 12 feel less anxious and more comfortable after surgery for a broken arm. About 80 kids will be randomly assigned to use either the special pillow or standard care (separate ice packs and regular pillows). Their anxiety and comfort levels will be measured before and after surgery to see if the pillow makes a difference.
