NCT ID NCT07536373
First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether a low dose of colchicine, a safe anti-inflammatory drug used for gout, can help people with severe leg artery disease avoid amputation or death. About 200 adults in Taiwan who recently had a procedure to restore leg blood flow will take either colchicine or a placebo daily for 12 months. The goal is to see if colchicine reduces serious complications like amputation, heart attack, or stroke.
