Brain games fight HIV 'Brain Fog' in aging adults

NCT ID NCT05598047

Summary

This study tested whether a 20-hour computer brain training program could help older adults with HIV who have thinking and memory problems. Researchers enrolled 119 participants, mostly from the Deep South, to see if the training was practical and could improve their mental sharpness and daily functioning. The goal was to reduce the severity of HIV-related cognitive issues, which affect over half of people living with HIV as they age.
